Try as We Might-They Just Keep Growing....

It just isn't fair how cute this boy is!!

Playing Santa....

A new home meant our first real experience at playing Santa. It was a day that I am sure will live forever frozen in time in the minds of myself and my husband. Our very first Christmas in our very first home-and it was a white Christmas to boot!!

Beautiful Beth

After celebrating my oldest daughter's third birthday, I got to meet up with the beautiful Ms. Beth for my very first senior session. I could not have asked for a more gorgeous, calm, go-with-the-flow subject!! Not to mention someone with a genuinely unique style and love for trying the "unusual senior session". Thank you, Beth, for this wonderful experience!!

Christmas Card TO THE WORLD!!

In November, we were honored to do our first ever senior portrait session with the beautiful Ms. Beth. However, when I walked into the building we were meeting at to take Beth's pictures, I found her there with two of her friends. They asked if we could quickly shoot some pictures before her senior session so they could send out a Christmas card. When I asked who they were sending their cards to, one of them responded excitedly, "THE WORLD!!" It was such a fun experience to photograph these three beautiful ladies!!

A World Without Uncles....

Our girls love their uncles so incredibly much. There is rarely a day that goes by in our household where one of the four of them aren't mentioned. I wonder why....

Our Girlies-Throw Back Posting....

Came across some of my favorite pictures of our beautiful (in my humble opinion!!) little girls!!

These first ones are precious to me not only as they are some of our first of the two of them together, but also because they are during my absolute favorite time of year-FALL!!

These second ones are of Idina at almost five months old. She was the sweetest, easiest baby you will ever meet and her beautiful eyes still have a power over me to get me to do anything she wants!!

Our First Wedding!! October 2010

We felt so blessed and honored to be a part of Chris and Ashley's big day!! It was such a privilege to watch them go from dating, to engaged, to husband and wife. This wedding was hand picked (and mostly handmade) with love by Ashley and her friends and family and the wealth of love and creativity in this new family is so clear as you watch all the small details unfold. I can wish nothing more than for everyday for the rest of their lives to be as happy and joyous as this day was. Congratulations Chris and Ashley!!

Chris and Ashley were married at The Louisville Church of Christ in Old Louisville.

A New Home....

In October of 2010, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase our very first home!! One thing was missing though, a wall "mural" of pictures. I got the inspiration from my favorite photographer to stalk Peekaboo Photos. If you don't immediately love her photography, at least you can be wooed by her amazingly beautiful girls, adorable fashions (complimentary of Matilda Jane) and decorating skills. There is a link on her blog about how to display pictures. I do not have the studio sets that Peekaboo sports, nor do I have the mullah for the adorable Matilda Jane outfits, but I do have some cute kids and a big new backyard, so I went to work!!

Introducing Keats Asa....

In August, just two weeks to the day after celebrating Idina's first birthday, we welcomed Keats Asa into our lives. This unexpected blessing has completed our family in so many ways. Looking oh-so-much like his father hasn't hurt with him stealing my heart either!!
